Our Story
Johnson Security Patrol was founded in December 2018 by owner, Larry Johnson, after working for seven years as a security guard for a variety of security companies. In 2020, during the era of COVID 19, Larry Johnson decided to pursue Johnson Security Patrol full-time and also expand the services offered.

SECURITY GUARD TRAINING/PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR
Training needed to become a licensed security guard in the state of Texas. Students must first complete the Level II Training Course and Test.
All commissioned and non-commissioned (armed and unarmed) security officers must go through this training. The training must be taken at a licensed school and taught by a licensed instructor.
To become a commissioned (armed) security officer, you must complete the Level II and Level III Training. If students are interested in becoming a Personal Protection Officer (bodyguard), this requires you to complete the Level IV Training courses.
For students interested in Private Investigations (non-commission), we help them obtain their Private Investigator license.
SECURITY SERVICES
We offer security services for event halls, special events, apartment complexes, office buildings, churches, clubs, bars, warehouses, & more!
LICENSE TO CARRY COURSES
A Texas License to Carry course (formally Concealed Handgun License) that will satisfy state requirements for obtaining a license to carry hand guns in the State of Texas. Students must pass a written exam and a handgun proficiency test.
